🌿 Spirituality is not just about smiling and being kind🙏

Updated: 3 days ago

Today marks the beginning of our Sunday Satsang series.

🌞 Join me every Sunday morning for Satsang.

A moment to slow down, listen deeply, and start your week in alignment.A sacred space to pause, breathe, and reconnect.

What is a Satsang?

Satsang is a Sanskrit word that means “a gathering in truth” or “being in the company of truth.”

It’s a gentle space where we come together to reflect, breathe, and connect with what really matters—our inner peace, our heart, our truth.

You don’t need to know anything in advance.

You don’t need to be spiritual or experienced.

Just come as you are.

But what does that really mean in everyday life?

💛 Satsang is not about religion or dogma.

It’s not a lecture or a performance. It’s a shared space for stillness, reflection, and authentic presence—where we sit with ourselves and one another in openness and honesty.

It may include:

  • Quiet reflection or meditation

  • Inspiring words or readings

  • Gentle movement or breath

  • A moment of gratitude or prayer

  • Space for sharing, silence, or simply being

There’s no need to be perfect. No need to know all the answers. You are welcome as you are.

🌞 Why Sunday Morning?

Sunday is often a day of rest—a soft threshold between what has passed and what is to come.Beginning the week with Satsang is like watering the roots of your soul. It helps you:

  • Reconnect with your heart

  • Slow down and center

  • Remember what truly matters

  • Feel grounded, peaceful, and whole

Sunday Satsang #1 03/08/2025

Spirituality is not about being positive all the time — it's about being real.”

Let’s explore what it truly means to walk a spiritual path with honesty, presence, and heart.

🌿 Spirituality is not just about smiling and being kind - it’s not always light and ease.

It’s not about being positive all the time.

True spirituality is learning to sit with your truth—even when it’s messy, painful or uncertain. It’s allowing space for sadness, anger, grief, fear. It’s knowing that your light doesn't disappear just because you're feeling heavy.

It’s about setting boundaries, not just saying “yes” to please others. It’s speaking your truth, even when your voice shakes. It’s resting, healing, saying “no,” going inward—without guilt.

🌿 Everyday Spirituality (No Incense Required)

You don’t need to sit in lotus pose, chant mantras, or align your chakras to be spiritual. You don’t need crystals, fancy rituals, or a library of sacred texts.

You don’t even need to call yourself “spiritual.”

Spirituality is not about what you do. It’s about how you live — how you relate to yourself, others, and the world around you.

Here are ways you can live spiritually every single day, no labels required:

Listening deeply – to yourself, to others, to the silence between the words.✨ Saying "thank you" and actually feeling it.✨ Showing kindness when no one is watching.Sitting with uncomfortable emotions instead of running from them.Taking a breath before you react.Being fully present for a conversation, a cup of tea, or a sunset.Letting go of what no longer serves you — with grace, not guilt.Spending time in nature and noticing life beyond your to-do list.Telling the truth — even gently — when it's easier to hide.Forgiving someone, maybe even yourself.Resting without needing to earn it.Helping, not for praise, but because it feels right.

These are spiritual acts.

Every time you choose presence over performance, compassion over control, or truth over perfection — you are living spiritually.

✨ Spiritual growth is not perfection—it’s presence.Showing up as you are, again and again. And sometimes… we need support to come back to ourselves.Through stillness.Through sound.Through breath.

I hope that Sunday letters with your morning coffee will become a special ritual for you.

And if you know me, you know that a good cup of coffee is one of my simple joys.

So, if today’s Satsang brought you a moment of inspiration or peace — and you feel called to give a little something back — you’re welcome to treat me to a virtual cup of coffee. It’s a sweet way to support the quiet moments of creation that go into each Sunday reflection.

Thank you for walking alongside me on this gentle journey of words, stillness, and soul.

I’m grateful we get to share it. 🌿Inga
